THE LIBRARY (4500+ Books)
A library is a collection of sources, books, magazines, digests, novels etc. and similar resources, made accessible to a defined community for reading, reference or borrowing. The goal of the school/college library is to ensure that all members of the school community have equitable access “to books and reading” which has a positive impact on students achievements. The school library exists to provide a range of learning opportunities for both large and small groups, as well as individuals with a focus on intellectual content and information literacy.
Tipu Shaheed School and College has a well-established library having books on religion, science, literature, history, geography and general knowledge. All students are provided with the opportunity to borrow books from the library to extend their knowledge. Every year, new books are added to the library stock.
The college Library provides good support for students and staff, complementing academic activities. The school/college library is part of school’s /college’s teaching and learning environment. It provides resources and services that support students and staff.
